Marty Rhoads

Hello,

​​​​​​My name is Marty Rhoades, and I am the Music Director of the Low Country Chorus.
I have been a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society since December of 1975.
Singing first with the Akron Derbytown Chorus then joining the Low Country Chorus in 1987.

I’ve been a section leader, a program vice president, chorus choreographer, and an assistant music director. I received training through the society in 1989 and 1990. After returning from training in 1990 I was installed as the music director and have held that position ever since. 

I have sung in 2 registered Quartets. Singing bass with The Gaslight Gallery in Akron and The Harmony Construction Company in Myrtle Beach. I have also sung in many other Quartets in both locations.

I currently am singing with the Southern Gentlemen, mostly Baritone and occasionally Bass.
